Reasons To Consider An All Inclusive Wedding Package

By Kathleen Terrana For the bride and groom who cannot afford a wedding planner to oversee all of the wedding details, there are other options available. The all inclusive wedding package provides all the wedding and reception necessities for a set price. According to Lake Arrowhead Weddings, an all inclusive wedding package company, All you need to take care of is getting the dress and the rings! These companies represent volume business for the wedding vendors, and have more bargaining power then the bride and groom as one-time clients. Many of the services provided save the bride time and money. With an all inclusive wedding, the bride will not have to worry about: Interviewing officiants Hiring a wedding planner Interviewing multiple wedding professionals Filling out and mailing deposits and contracts Set up of tables, chairs, linens, flowers, decorations, bar, gift table and buffet tables Keeping the buffet table stocked Clean up from the ceremony and reception Cutting and serving of the wedding cake Booking a honeymoon suite Booking accommodations for additional guests A major worry for the bride is when the RSVPs come trickling in just days before the wedding. The all inclusive wedding company can make arrangements to add 5 or 50 more settings, as well as additional beverages and food. Many all inclusive wedding packages offer one or more scenic locations to choose from. Some of them will let the bride and groom pick a location and they will bring the package. One online company advertises weddings for 2-50 people starting at only $7995, which includes taxes. Kathleen Terrana is the previous owner of Elegant Rentals and the current owner of Beautiful Bridal. Put Some Mystery in Your Life

By Doralynn Kennedy Mystery shoppers. For some it conjures up images of private eyes and undercover detectives. That’s fair. In Nevada, a mystery shopper is required to register with a firm that is in association with the Private Investigative Licensing Board. Somewhat funny, but true. If you shop, and I’m sure you do, you have probably bumped into someone on a shopping assignment. Did you notice them? Doubtful. Or you may have found yourself on the receiving end of an evaluation by a mystery shopper. Did you realize it at the time? Probably not. But what is mystery shopping exactly? And can you really make money for shopping? Mystery shoppers are primarily independent contractors. They receive their assignments from mystery shopping companies. These companies have been contracted by various businesses in need of mystery shoppers. Mystery shoppers handle a wide range of assignments. They may be required to order a personalized bracelet at a fine jewelry store and then return it. (Not an easy assignment. I actually had that one once). They may be asked to gamble at a local casino, or take in a popular movie. They may be asked to take their dog to a groomer, visit an auto dealer, or go to a spa. The possibilities are truly endless. A mystery shopper doesn’t know from day to day what new adventure may land in their inbox. And some assignments truly are an adventure. Cruise ships use mystery shoppers. Any adult can be a mystery shopper. Both men and women are shoppers. Shoppers may be employed, unemployed, self-employed, or retired. There are programs for shoppers that offer certification, but it is in no way required to be a mystery shopper. Mystery shopping companies provide any special training that may be needed. Internet access is becoming more and more necessary to work with most mystery shopping companies, but there are some small companies that don’t require it. The Assignments. Each shop has detailed instructions, so it’s very important to be able to follow instructions. It’s equally important to be observant and reliable. While you are mystery shopping, you will be observing customer service, product knowledge of the salesperson, quality, and other standards important to both the business and its customers. After a shop is finished, a report is completed. It may take a few minutes, an hour, or even longer. If the thought of completing a report makes you wince in pain, then mystery shopping is definitely not for you. In some cases, you will perform video shops. In these instances, you will be trained on how to use special video shopping equipment. (Video only…no audio for legal reasons). This sort of shop really does make you feel like a private detective and is quite fun. How much a mystery shopper earns depends on the type of shop, time required to perform the shop, and the difficulty of the shop. Note: Mystery shoppers use their own money on assignments. They are not always reimbursed for items not returned. Payment for the shop may take as long as two months. Sample assignments and fees: * Retail Stores: Payments typically range from $5 - $40. * Supermarkets: $5 - $10. * Fast Food: $5 - $10 Cost of the meal. * Dine in Restaurants: $15 - $50 Cost of the meal. * Haircuts: $10 - $40 Cost of the haircut and styling. * Banks: $10 - $50. * Furniture or Appliance Stores: $10 - $20. * Apartments or New Homes: $25 - $50. Many shoppers do this in their spare time. They may earn $100, $200, $500, or more per month. Some shoppers make their living as full time mystery shoppers. It’s not easy though. It usually requires working with a large number of mystery shopping companies — perhaps 60 or more. Full time shoppers have their hands full — juggling assignments, reports, and due dates. Full time shoppers must be very organized, but it can be financially rewarding. Full time shoppers can earn $40,000 per year and more! Shoppers receive 1099’s from the mystery shopping companies each year. Companies are required to send 1099’s to contractors who are paid $600 or more per year, but some companies will send you a 1099 regardless of the amount you were actually paid. Although you don’t have to pay to mystery shop, you may consider joining a mystery shopping site. These sites charge a fee to access their directory of mystery shopping companies. You could probably find some of these companies on your own, but it is doubtful that you could find all of them. Mystery shopping is not for everyone, but for those who want to put some mystery in their lives…without endangering themselves…it doesn’t get any better than mystery shopping. Bridging Loans

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Joseph_Kenny]Joseph Kenny A couple of years ago my wife and I were in the process of selling our house. We were pretty sure we had found a buyer and had agreed on a price acceptable to both them, and us but they wouldnt be able to buy our house for about three months. My wife and I were totally ok with this since we werent in any particular hurry to move, we just wanted to move into a bigger home outside of town, somewhere a bit more rural. Well, one weekend while we were driving around the countryside looking at houses, we saw the perfect farmhouse. It was exactly what we were looking for. Not too far out of town, on a quiet road, overlooking a little lake and surrounded by tall oak trees. In short it was perfect. We contacted the selling agent and found out that the price was within our budget, but only just. We told him it would be three months before wed be able to buy it and this caused him to pause. Apparently there was a lot of interest in that little house and he couldnt justify delaying the sale for three months. So we let it go. Why a Bridging Loan? We did find another beautiful house so the story has a happy ending but is there anything we could have done to get that first house? The answer, had we known it at the time, would have been a bridging loan. Bridging loans are short-term loans offered by commercial lenders to borrowers for a specific purpose. They can range in time from two weeks, for a very short loan, to up to three years for commercial bridging loans. Homebuyers who have not yet sold their property and wish to buy require these bridging loans. Interest Rates The interest rates are probably higher than for your typical mortgage but this is because of the added flexibility and convenience you have from the lender. There will also be set up fees involved. However, they may work out at significantly cheaper than some of the alternatives such as renting accommodation. There will also be many situations in which the price will be well worth paying if it means getting your dream home. You should always shop around before agreeing to a bridging loan as rates and fees can vary significantly. You dont have to get it from your mortgage provider although there may be advantages to doing so. Saying No to Design Competitions

By Russell Arsenault Design competitions have been hitting the news more and more lately. Seemingly almost every week a call for submissions request hits the headlines, asking for artists and designers to submit their ideas and proposals. Due to the seemingly large talent pool of designers available through the help of the internet, companies and organizations have been capitalizing on this new-found resource as a solution to their design needs. Whats interesting is that there has been a backlash from the design community in regards to these competitions. There are a number of reasons for this. One is that ultimately, the competition itself becomes the real news, while often times the contest organizer will fail to adequately promote the winning designer once the project is completed. Another issue at hand is the waste of resources that occurs when artists compete to submit winning designs. This robs designers of their time and effort causing great inefficiencies. Whats worse is that the winning design may or may not be suitable for the client, as the designers are likely kept at arms length during the process. As a result, contest organizers may get stuck with a particular logo design, or risk facing a public relations disaster if they decide to change it a month or two down the road. That isnt to say that doing pro-bono work from time to time is necessarily a bad thing. However one needs to keep in mind the difference between pro-bono and speculative work. As a great example of pro-bono work, VSA Partners were approached by the Chicago Olympic Organizing Committee to develop a logo design for the 2016 Olympic Games. Based out of Chicago themselves, VSA Partners took the best design elements of their native city when creating the logo. The Olympic Organizing Committee and VSA Partners stand to mutually benefit from the collaboration. However, speculative work is different. It means that designers can never be sure that their work will be considered, and there is often no compensation offered for designs that arent selected. Pro-bono work means that you will essentially be doing the work for free, but its guaranteed that your work will be used in the project, something that is very important to designers looking to enhance their portfolios. As a means to counter this new trend in the design industry, an initiative called NO-SPEC has started out. NO-SPEC is an organization dedicated to educating and promoting sound business practices in the design world. With the help of their website they hope to encourage designers to take a stand on doing excessive speculative work, while educating contest organizers on the negative influence these types of logo design competitions have on the industry. Logo Bee also has a competition of its own which attempts to reverse this trend, called LogoBees Design Makeover for non-profits. LogoBee is the host of this annual contest where non-profits submit proposals on why they need to update their logo / image, and are asked to provide some background information on their organization and mission. LogoBee then hand-selects winners (last year there were 10!), and creates free logo designs and stationery layouts for every winner. This is of course a very good thing for non-profits, but also ensures that the time and effort of LogoBees design team is put to good use. LogoBee is a leading provider of custom logo design services for businesses worldwide. Brochure and stationery design also offered. The Best Way To Lose Weight Forever

By Roy Miller It amazes me how people want to make weight loss difficult, or complicated. The ones doing that usually want to sell you something very expensive. Weight loss is simple. I didn’t say easy. It can be the hardest thing in the world to drop the extra pounds you’ve spent a lifetime putting on your frame. But the best way to lose weight is, and always has been, to reduce your net caloric intake. The formula is simple. The calories you eat, minus the calories you burn, equals your net caloric intake. If you eat more than you burn, you gain weight. If you eat exactly what you burn, you maintain your weight. If you eat less than you burn, you lose weight. You don’t need a $900 exercise machine to figure that out. It might help you burn some calories, but you have to know the formula first, not expect some magic out of the machine. Now you know. I’ve heard many people say, “But it’s not as simple as eating less and moving more! I’ve been doing that!” Well, not if you’re not losing weight. If you can’t seem to drop the pounds, you haven’t been eating fewer calories than you burn. It really is that simple. You’ll find no shortage of people (especially online) who want you to believe you need an exotic diet, or a particular wonder-machine, or a particular trainer. You don’t. The best way to lose weight is to get educated first about what weight loss is all about, then start following a simple plan that can put the physiological math in your favor. The Power of Antioxidants

By Karen Myton Antioxidants are becoming some of the most researched substances in health circles these days for good reason. They seem to be responsible for better quality of life, more energy, clearer skin, even tales of slowing the aging process. When free radicals and antioxidants are out of balance problems arise. Eating more dark-green, leafy vegetables, carrots, yellow and red fruits are strongly recommended. Some examples of antioxidant are Vitamins C, E, and Beta Carotene, to name just a few. Some findings indicate that people who are low in antioxidants are more likely to develop arthritis and other diseases than those consuming higher amounts. Good sources of antioxidants are salmon, legumes, extra lean meat, leafy vegetables and colorful fruits. Another important nutrient, the catechin shows they work well together with antioxidants, have fat burning and antibacterial qualities. In nature there are always numerous nutrients working together, and we are just scratching the surface deciphering those combinations. One thing is certain, you can never get too much of a good thing when it comes to antioxidants. Supplements Are Necessary Many dietary authorities agree we need to supplement with antioxidants. CoQ10 is one vitamin like supplement manufactured naturally in your body, but it’s never enough to combat the amount of free radicals you’re exposed to every day. Because of this daily free radical load, your best defense is to take antioxidants as a supplement as your food doesn’t provide enough. Vitamin E has been an extremely popular antioxidant vitamin in recent years. Alpha-tocopherol is traditionally recognized as the most active form of vitamin E. It’s a fat-soluble vitamin in eight forms which is a much more powerful combination compared to any single form of Vitamin E. Vitamin C is important for the function of the immune system, tissue repair, and is also an antioxidant. It has been found that vitamin C can reduce cold symptoms because of its antiviral and antioxidant effects. Vitamin A is an antioxidant necessary for good vision and has also been shown to have a protective effect against cancer. The Powerful Antioxidant List * Alpha lipoic acid (ALA) is derived from plant or animal tissue. Proanthocyanidin, or OPC, is another powerful antioxidant. * Vitamin K was been approved for the treatment of osteoporosis in Japan in 1995. * Milk thistle is a powerful antioxidant for liver protection and body detoxification. * Green tea is the most powerful antioxidant beverage known today. * Olivus olive leaf tea is a good tasting tea with powerful antioxidant, anti-virus, anti- bacteria and anti- fungus properties. * The whole fruit puree of the Mangosteen fruit is a powerful natural antioxidant and anti-inflammatory. * Fermented Papaya is the new body antioxidant from Japan. Grape seed extract is another antioxidant that’s easy to take. With this list of powerful antioxidants you can choose one or more to suit your budget and taste. Which One is Best? Of all the available antioxidants, Mangosteen seems to hold the most promise. Originally from South East Asia, Mangosteen is a highly revered botanical and the most expensive fruit at the market when it comes in season. It is used to combat numerous ailments by local Physicians and is the most prominent medicine in most Doctors kits there. Mangosteen can be found in a few health food stores but only one company makes the a puree with the whole fruit. To get the full benefit from Mangosteen the juice must be made with the whole fruit, otherwise it’s healing potential is about the same as apple juice. There is one nutrient in Mangosteen that is not available anywhere else, the Xanthone. Keep your eyes and ears open for that nutrient… Xanthone. You’ll be hearing more about it soon enough. *** Xanthones… The Super Star of Antioxidants *** Discover why people are raving about Xanthones… The most powerful Antioxidants known to Science. http://www.aboutantioxidants.net Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Karen_Myton http://EzineArticles.com/?The-Power-of-Antioxidants&id=351670 no prescription needed diazepam side effects from diazepam prescription drug cheap valium si zopidem diazepam purchase online with discover card

Nokia N80 - Just Another N-Series Phone - Or Is It?

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Keith_Rickwood]Keith Rickwood One of the most anticipated and over-hyped phone, Nokia N80 falls quite short of expectations for many. Theoretically, the phone’s anatomy has been engineered to almost perfection, but when it’s handed over to its users, this phone won’t really be classified as ‘the prized possession’. That is, if the user is not a typical user. Nokia N80 has an innovative exterior, with a classy slide-up design. This makes the smartphone compact and attractive. But despite this effort, Nokia N80 fails to compete with ‘the lords in the game’ Samsung. The slide-up mechanism of Nokia N80 is not as smooth and good as that of Samsung. Also, the slide opens by itself many a times, which might lead into automatic dialling. The only resort thus, becomes the manual keypad lock. One of the lightest smartphones available - weighs around 134g - Nokia N80 has successfully carved a niche in the genre of light smartphones. Being a 3G smartphone, it takes good care of personal and business requirements. The phone offers a wide array of multiple softwares, excellent functionality and good connectivity. It also has a wireless LAN, enabling fast connection to a PC, broadband internet and other Wi-Fi devices. But the blot here is its slow pace, both in boot up and in operation. It has a superior LCD display and video quality. But despite having a 3 Megapixels camera, it cannot compete with Nokia N90 and Sony Ericsson W900i (both having 2 Megapixels camera). And if music runs through your blood, this phone is a celebration for you. It comes with an advance music player, great audio quality, stereo handset and a great storage capacity. Concept wise Nokia N80 is par excellence and we just hope that the firmware upgrades will make it more reliable and user-friendly. How To Keep Your Bamboo From Upsetting The Neighbors!

By Dean Caporella Growing bamboo for the first time requires a little due diligence however, once you have grasped the nature of bamboo, maintaining it at a healthy level is relatively easy. Growing bamboo is basically like building a house; you want to make sure the foundation is solid otherwise you’ll encounter problems later on. It’s placement in a garden is important. Generally, they enjoy full sun and in the initial growing phase, require some attention via watering, fertilizing and protection from competing weeds. Runners And Clumpers One aspect of growing this plant that people often overlook is the nature of bamboo: is it a running variety or a clumper. If you live in suburbia or a high density housing area then runners may not be a good idea unless you have a sound knowledge of containing them. Running varieties can cause havoc because of their ability to produce runners below the surface which can travel a great distance from the main base of the plant. Running Varieties Running bamboo is ideal in creating fence breaks or privacy barriers between neighbors and containing them, following sound planting principles, is achievable. Containment barriers such as large pots are the safest methods but for in-ground planting, then you’ll need to build a special barrier around the plant. There are various methods which involve digging 2-3 feet deep around the area of the plant base. Lining the wall of the barrier is often open to plenty of conjecture with plastic, concrete or metal used. Once the barrier is in place the bamboo is then planted. How effective is this against the spread of underground runners? Again, it’s debatable. You’ll get arguments for and against and may have to perform extra maintenance work away from the plant such as keeping surrounding sections dry. Clumpers With clumpers, the restriction barrier isn’t required in most cases although some experienced gardeners will install lighter barriers just to play it safe. The root structure requires plenty of room to move so bear in mind, if you want the plant to reach maximum height, then be sure not to place it in too restrictive a base. Bamboo can be planted at most times of the year. If you live in a cold climate, then make sure the planting takes place during the warmer months. This will give the plant plenty of time to mature and become established before the cold hits. Plant it too late and it won’t, in all probability, survive the cold. Planting bamboo requires a little homework initially but don’t worry, it isn’t “rocket science.” Your bamboo garden center should be able to provide you with all the necessary instructions to negotiate your first planting venture. One more thing, you will need to check with your local government authority to ascertain whether planting bamboo is allowed. There are restrictions in some areas, particularly with the running varieties. Dean Caporella is a professional broadcaster. Read this guide now before planting bamboo. South Florida Swordfishing

By Joseph McGivern The swordfish industry is a cyclical one, alternating between lean times and times of plenty. In the 1970’s swordfish were abundant off the waters of South Florida. One could go to any one of the many popular docks in the area, early in the morning, and watch in awe as the different crews would unload literally hundreds of pounds of swordfish from their respective operations. Of course, word travels fast, and by the late 1970’s the long liners had already made strategic moves into our waters. For the next decade the long liners, without being held in check by regulations, all but decimated the swordfish population off of South Florida. It took the point where the swordfish populations had dwindled down to drastically low numbers, for the government to finally enact legislation, forcing out the long liners, in hope that one day the swordfish population of South Florida would make a comeback. I started swordfishing in 1995, with a couple of old timers off of Miami. The normal game plan consisted of running out about 18-miles and deploying a simple 4-rod spread. We had the ocean all to ourselves, sans a few cruise ships and tankers every now and then. As far as fishing pressure, it was almost nonexistent. We would use cylume light sticks, 100ft wind-on leaders, and 11/0 j-hooks rigged to dead squid. We would target the depths from approximately 100 to 400 deep. It took us a few years to really figure out what we were doing. Again, by 1999 the word had gotten out, and before too long the recreational anglers had figured out that they too could get in on the seemingly untapped swordfishery. The swordfish, a quarry previously considered a rare and exceptional catch to the average angler, had now become a very achievable catch, and one could expect to go out and at least get a bite. On any given night, you could go out and see 10 boats fishing the same area. Soon enough swordfish tournaments started hitting the scene. At first there was only 1 swordfish tournament a year, but now there are over 6 tournaments a year out of South Florida, and then number is likely to grow. Two of the biggest tournaments are the Miami Swordfish tournament, and the Islamorada Swordfish tournament hosted by Capt. Rick Peoples from Miami. These tournaments bring out the best of the best from South Florida to showcase their swordfishing knowledge and skills. Now in 2006, we are faced again with the commercial guys trying to come back into the waters of South Florida. The South East Swordfish Club (SESC) was started by a great group of guys, in order to educate the recreational fisherman, and to trade secrets and tactics on swordfishing. The main goal of the SESC now, is to fight the government in an effort to keep the longliners out of the waters of off South Florida. Skip Smith and Bobby Boyle, the founders of the SESC, are doing all they can to educate the public, and to get the proper backing to keep the long liners out. So far they have been doing an admirable job, with the help of many others, namely Ron Coddington, who has dedicated countless hours of his time, trying to inform us on what we need to do to help our fishery. Ron has flown to Washington D.C. on behalf of recreational fisherman to prove how much we love our fishery and how much we want to keep it. Now its our turn, as recreational fisherman, to do all that we can to save this important fishery. We all need to step up and voice our collective opinions, and keep this fishery viable. We are extremely fortunate to have this fishery right in our back yard, so lets not take this for granted, and keep up the hard work keeping this fishery around for generations to come! Captain Joe McGivern is a licensed captain in South Florida. He specializes in light-tackle sportfishing and swordfishing trips.
